So for the past few weeks I have been secretly crafting a social networking/community based site. I’m not prepared to divulge all the details of the project yet but, I just can’t contain myself!

I’m really excited about this project for so many reasons. For starters it’s something that I have wanted to do for a long while. I’m also excited that it has come together so quickly. There were a lot of little details that I wasn’t sure I would be able to figure out, but they turned out to be pretty simple! But the best part of it for me is that the whole project is based around getting film makers together to…. ah wait… too much already! That’s all you’re getting.

I can say though, that I am 80% done the coding part. (I seriously have been dreaming in code… and not the cool “I’m in tron, fighting grid-bugs on a light cycle” kind of code either…)

Now the job is making things look pretty.

This was meant to be a tongue in cheek take on the typical romance novel cover (Hence the abundance of cheese found in this image.) The book was used as a prop in the feature length film “Beyond the Farthest Star.” I had a ton of fun creating this image, and would gladly accept a cover job from any budding romance novel writers out there… Haha!

The back cover has a great summary of what the story is about. I think it sounds rather steamy!

This started out as a Character/Anatomy study but ended up becoming a finished piece. I think it turned out rather well especially for my first painting in a long while.

WonderClick approached me for a simple Logo treatment and Style Guide. These Guys were a lot of fun to work with, and I can’t wait for our upcoming projects and the chance to work with them again!

Contracted through Image Engine, I was hired by Aerex Industries to reboot their public image. They wanted something that would appeal to both a corporate and municipal demographic while maintaining a fresh modern feel.

After a short concept phase we started designing right away. The brand identity and site was built simultaneously and evolved side by side, ensuring a consistent feel and look.

The web site was built with XHTML, CSS and jQuery, CSS3 and utilized the WordPress framework to speed up the development.
Along with the web site I was contracted to create stationary, Style Guides, Brochures and a 15 foot trade show booth equipped with video and audio.

Beyond The Farthest Star is a Faith-based Film from Pathlight Entertainment. I was contracted as lead designer/developer to build the initial web presence/branding for the film while in the production stage as a way to build momentum for the film before it’s release.

I was also responsible for creating  the physical promotional tools  including fliers, postcards, posters, banners, and brochures.

Beyond The Farthest Star is a faith-based film from Pathlight Entertainment. I was contracted as lead designer/developer to build the initial web presence and branding for the film while in the production stage as a way to build momentum for the film before it’s release.

The site leverages WordPress’ powerful CMS abilities.  A custom regional voting system was also created and integrated into the site allowing fans of the film to promote and virally spread the film to their friends and family, while also providing feedback to gage regional interest.

I was also responsible for creating  physical promotional tools  including fliers, postcards, posters, and brochures.

Brrr…. It’s cold days like these when I miss summer. We tend to take for granted not having to start the car 20 minutes before going anywhere, having to shovel the walkway just to get the mail, or wearing more than 3 layers just to feel moderately comfortable. Me and these brisk days are not the best of friends…

I am working on a series of matte paintings for a short film a few close friends and myself shot recently. The film is a 20 minute story of Hope in a world where people have all but given up on hope. The story takes place many years after a large unknown catastrophe has ravaged the earth and left few survivors.

Here is one of the promo fliers based on a scene with extensive matte painting done in post.

Catalyst is a youth organization located in Littleton, NH. It’s a branch of The Bridge Community Center. I designed a Simple Blog site so they could stay connected with the youth and also have a place to promote events. The site is built on the powerful WordPress system.
